Hotel Accommodations

Ann Arbor is a busy college town where the few hotels fill up very quickly. We highly recommend booking early – this cannot be overstated. MRCG has room blocks at the two hotels listed below. Our blocks expire on September 1st.

Bell Tower Hotel
This small, charming hotel is located on the University of Michigan Central Campus in downtown Ann Arbor. It is 3 short blocks from the Kelsey Museum. Please note that it is the only hotel with availability within walking distance of the Kelsey.

1 Queen bed – $162/night, single occupancy (add $22 for second occupant)
2 Double beds – $173/night, single occupancy (add $22 for second occupant)

These rates include breakfast, valet parking, and wireless internet. Click here to access the Bell Tower’s MRCG room block. Book early – we have only 15 rooms in the block!

Sheraton Hotel
This large, modern hotel is located about three miles south of the Kelsey Museum. It’s on the AATA bus line (see our transportation page for bus info), and the hotel also has complimentary shuttle service in Ann Arbor. If driving, it’s a 5 to 10 min drive to/from the Kelsey. The hotel has a fitness center which includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

$129 per night for a room with either 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. The rate is the same whether single or double occupancy. Rate includes wireless internet. Parking is complimentary.

Alternate Accommodations
You can search for other accommodations on the Ann Arbor Visitors Bureau website at Click on the “Accommodations” tab at left. We recommend the advanced search option within any of the accommodation categories – be sure to choose Ann Arbor as the location, because the surrounding cities are a 15 to 30 minute drive.
